Security forces on Monday killed two terrorists in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that terrorist Kaiser Koka has been killed in the encounter in the Wandakpora area, while the identity of the other terrorist is yet to be ascertained.
Security forces have recovered a US-made rifle (M-4 carbine) and a pistol from the terrorists. Along with arms and ammunition, other objectionable materials have also been recovered.
Lashkar's hybrid terrorist arrested
The encounter comes days after Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army personnel arrested a hybrid terrorist of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Baramulla. The terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Iqbal Bhat, a resident of Tilgam Paine. He was arrested at a checkpoint in the Kreeri area of Baramulla.
