India has reacted very strongly to the way Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir has threatened nuclear weapons from the soil of its very close strategic partner country, America.

India has made it clear that it will not bow down to any kind of nuclear blackmail and will continue to take every necessary step to ensure its national security. At the same time, America has also been criticized.

We will use a nuclear bomb if...

Asim Munir is currently on a US tour. Addressing Pakistani expatriates in Florida, he had said that if Pakistan faces an existential threat in a future war with India, it will use a nuclear bomb. If India obstructs the flow of water towards Pakistan, Islamabad will destroy the Indian dam.

He had said - We are a nuclear nation. If we feel that we are drowning, we will drown half the world with us. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also underlined that there are deep links between the army and terrorist organizations in Pakistan. Due to this, the global community has doubts over the credibility of nuclear command and control there.

Describing Pakistan's blackmailing over nuclear weapons as its old habit, Jaiswal has termed it irresponsible. Jaiswal also regretted that General Munir made this statement from the soil of a friendly country (America). General Munir has visited America for the second time in the last two months.

On one hand, while relations between India and America are very tense due to President Donald Trump's tariff policy, the Trump administration is rolling out the red carpet for the Pakistani Army Chief.

At a dinner hosted by a Pakistani industrialist on Saturday, Munir made many statements against India. According to media reports, General Munir has threatened to demolish the dam built by India in 10 minutes.

He said that the Indus River is not the family property of Indians. We will wait for India to build the dam, and when it does, we will destroy it. These reports have not been officially condemned by Pakistan.

Some experts in India believe that the way Donald Trump is claiming almost daily that he has stopped a possible nuclear war between India and Pakistan, the Pakistan Army Chief might have been encouraged to make such an irresponsible statement.
