The video of IPS officer Anirudh Singh posted as SP Rural in Meerut taking a bribe went viral on the internet media on Sunday. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also took a jibe at the state government while sharing the video of the IPS officer in his tweet.

 

The government ordered an inquiry

Taking Akhilesh Yadav's tweet and the matter catching fire in the internet media seriously, the government has ordered an inquiry into the entire episode and has called for a report in three days. In the video, the IPS officer is seen talking to a person through video call.

 

 

The report sought in three days

Based on the said video, allegations of corruption are being leveled against Anirudh Singh. Although this episode is said to be three years old, because of the seriousness of the matter, the Police Headquarters has sought a report from Commissioner Varanasi after investigating it in three days.

 

Woman IPS accused of not paying rent

At the same time, a tweet related to woman IPS officer Aarti Singh, who is posted as DCP Varuna Zone Commissionerate, Varanasi, also became a topic of discussion. He has been accused of not paying the rent of the flat to his landlord. Aarti Singh is the wife of IPS officer Anirudh Singh.

 

Police Headquarters sought a report in three days

In this context also it has come to light that Aarti Singh has paid the rent to her landlord and nothing is due. But still, in this case, also, the Police Headquarters has asked Commissioner Varanasi to investigate and send his report within three days.

 

Akhilesh taunted the BJP government

Sharing the video of the IPS officer, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav wrote in his tweet that after this video of the recovery of an IPS officer in UP, will the direction of the bulldozers change towards him, or will the BJP be involved in adding one more name to the list of absconding IPS officers? The government will get this matter resolved as well. The people of UP are seeing that this is the truth of BJP's false zero tolerance towards crime.
