Veteran batsman Virat Kohli has said that he and his teammates are ready to give their best performance in the upcoming ODI World Cup to be held at home. He said that the team is committed to making the dream of Indian fans come true. India has won the ODI World Cup twice. The team last won the title in 2011 when it co-hosted the tournament along with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
India, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, won the title by defeating Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Kohli is now desperate to end the 12-year title drought. The Indian team has earlier failed to win the title in Australia-New Zealand in 2015 and England in 2019.
