The Indian team tasted its biggest victory in ODI cricket in the final of Asia Cup 2023. Team India defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets with 263 balls remaining and won the Asia Cup title for the 8th time.
With this, the Sri Lankan team was all out on its lowest score against India in ODI cricket. Five Sri Lankan batsmen returned to the pavilion without opening their account and the entire team was reduced to just 50 runs. Team India achieved the target of 51 runs in just 6.1 overs without losing any wickets.
