Yogi Adityanath: 'Whoever understands in whatever language, should be explained in that language', CM Yogi Adityanath gave a big statement on bulldozer action

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while reacting to the criticism of his government's bulldozer action, said that sometimes people need to be explained things in the language they understand. The Chief Minister further said that those who take the law into their own hands will have to face the consequences within the legal framework.

 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a podcast of news agency ANI, 'Justice is done for those who believe in justice. Those who take justice and law into their own hands are taught a lesson within the scope of the law. It should be explained in the language in which they understand it.

 

CM Yogi Adityanath also spoke on the Mathura dispute.

 

Speaking about the ongoing religious place dispute in Mathura, the Chief Minister said that the UP government is following the orders of the court, otherwise a lot could have happened there. He said, "Why should we not raise the issue of Mathura? Is Mathura not the birthplace of Shri Krishna? We are following the order of the court. Otherwise, a lot could have happened there."

 

CM Yogi said this on an excavation in Sambhal.

When asked about the Sambhal controversy, CM Yogi said that the government is working within the legal framework. He said that the authorities have so far identified more than 54 pilgrimage sites in the city, and efforts are on to find the remaining. The CM said, "There are 64 pilgrimage sites in Sambhal and we have found 54. Whatever is there, we will find it. We will tell the world what happened in Sambhal? Sambhal is a truth." 

 

When asked about the deaths during Maha Kumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "There is a judicial commission which is working as per the directions given by the Allahabad High Court and the Supreme Court. We had given it a month, but the Supreme Court gave it some more time and added some new things to it. They are talking to all the parties and recording statements. Whatever conclusion is drawn, they will give that report, on which we will take action." 

 

On the comments of Congress and other opposition parties on Maha Kumbh, Yogi Adityanath said, 'Many of their leaders, ministers, Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers came... This was not a BJP program. The central government and the state government together are taking care of the people, respecting faith. Congress was in power most of the time from 1947 to 2014, why did they not do this during this time? PM Modi got the Kumbh of Prayagraj recognized as a UNESCO cultural heritage in 2019.
