24 people died in Uttarakhand, 100 people were trapped due to water entering Kosi river in Ramnagar resort

It has been raining in Uttarakhand for the last 48 hours. Ten people are reported to have died due to the demolition of a house in a village in Ramgarh block of Nainital district. In Chaukhuta village of Dhari tehsil, six people of the same family were crushed to death in the house which came under the JD of the landslide. At the same time, water has entered a resort in Ramnagar. It is being told that about a hundred people are trapped inside the resort. A child is buried under the rubble after the house collapsed in Bhimtal. In the Almora district, three people have died due to debris coming from a hill on a house. In Almora Nagar too, the girl was crushed to death after the wall of the house collapsed. A youth died after being hit by a stone that fell from a hill in Bageshwar district. Two workers have died after being buried under debris in the Khinapani area on the Almora-Haldwani highway. At present, there are reports of 24 deaths. At the same time, the contact of Nainital has been cut off from the country and the world. The water of Nainital lake is overflowing. At Kathgodam railway station, about 100 meters of santing neck got washed away in the Gaula river. Trains have been canceled due to waterlogging. Dozens of mountain roads have been closed due to debris.

Nine died due to debris in Ramgarh

Nine people died in a house collapse in Jhutia village of Ramgarh block of Nainital district. At the same time, the condition of one is said to be serious. In the revenue village of Sakuna, debris came from the hill in the house in the early hours. 10 workers were sleeping in the room. One of which got up and jumped out. Whose condition is said to be serious? Nine laborers were buried under the rubble. In the morning, village head Suresh Mer took stock of the incident and informed the administration team about the incident. Due to the closure of the road, the administration and SDRF teams are unable to reach the spot.

Hundred people trapped in Ramnagar resort

Four died in Almora and one in Bageshwar

Some people have saved their lives by running away. SDRF team is doing rescue on the spot. In Almora itself, at a place called Heera Dungri, teenager Aruma Singh's daughter Trilok Singh got buried under the debris after the wall of a house collapsed. His body has been recovered. A youth of Bhanar village of Kapkot, Bageshwar, came under the grip of stones falling from the mountain, due to which he has died a painful death.
