During the promotions of KKBKKJ, the actor revealed that he is working on Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rule to be directed by Sukumar.

Jagapathi Babu in a conversation with Pinkvilla said, "Working with Suku (Sukumar) is always exciting because you never know what's going to happen next. Pushpa 2 is a challenging film and I love challenges. They have given me the best characters in all our previous films and I love working with them. Talking about Pushpa Ki, I liked the first part."

Jagapathi Babu also told about Allu Arjun. He recalled 20 years back when he had seen Allu in a gym. Jagapati Babu said, "I have always seen Allu doing well.
