Delhi's future Chief Minister Rekha Gupta assured on Thursday that the BJP government will fulfill its promise of giving Rs 2,500 monthly assistance to women. She made this announcement while talking to reporters outside her residence before leaving for Ramlila Maidan for the swearing-in ceremony.

Future Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, "The first installment of monthly assistance will be deposited in the bank accounts of eligible women by March 8."
