This time Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not going to the United Nations General Assembly i.e. UNGA. On behalf of India, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will attend the General Assembly. According to media reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will also not attend this meeting. The foreign ministers of both countries will present the side of their respective countries here.

Modi had given the 'Five S' formula to the UN some time ago. Jaishankar will talk in detail on this on September 24. He will also participate in about 50 other meetings. Some of these will be bilateral, that is, bilateral.

After the era of Kovid-19 (after two years), all the heads of state have got a chance to meet for the first time on this platform. However, three big leaders of the world, Modi, Putin, and Jinping will not come here. US President Joe Biden will be present here. Biden was supposed to give a speech earlier, but he went to London to attend Queen Elizabeth's funeral. Therefore, now after Brazil, his speech will be on September 21, ie Wednesday.

It is believed that Putin and Jinping have decided not to come to New York due to the serious tension between Russia and China America. However, both countries have not officially given the reason for the absence of both leaders. The reason for Modi's absence is also not clear. He had gone to Uzbekistan for the SCO summit only last week.

India gave the Five S formula

Jaishankar reached New York only on 18 September. His speech will be on 24 September. He will remain in the US till September 28. Modi had given the Five S formula some time back. These were Respect, Dialogue, Cooperation, Peace, and Prosperity. India's Permanent Mission to the UN has also given information about these five S through a video.

In this meeting, the focus will be on Geopolitical Tension, Climate Crisis, and Global Food Shortage. Talking about geopolitical tension, the most priority is on the Russia-Ukraine war. Because of this, the risk of global food shortage came to the fore. Floods caused huge destruction in Pakistan. He is citing climate change as the reason. 150 delegates will speak on these issues.

India's number after Pakistan

On behalf of Pakistan, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has arrived to participate in the General Assembly. It is believed that he will seek help from the world based on the devastation caused by the floods in the country and will mention climate change. Sharif has said in the past that rich countries have done nothing to stop climate change and poor countries are paying the price. Sharif will once again spread a helping hand in front of the world. He has said this.

Shahbaz can also raise the issue of Kashmir. If that happens, Jaishankar, an accomplished career diplomat, will respond to him the next day. Many Pakistani journalists agree that it is not easy to answer Jaishankar's arguments.
