Even after strict enforcement of Gurugram District Town Planner, land mafia cutting illegal colonies are active. In one and a half months, 50 illegal colonies were developed on more than 100 acres of land. This includes the areas of Sancholi, Silani, Farrukhnagar, Sultanpur, Mubarikpur, Pachgaon, Sohna, Badshahpur. This has been revealed in the survey of the district town planner. DTP has identified the land mafia. There are many such land mafia, against whom FIR has been registered. Now a plan has been prepared to take action against them again.
According to the DTP, the campaign against illegal colonies and the land mafia is going on in the district. When a survey was conducted by the team in January regarding this, shocking revelations were made. These include two colonies on one acre in Mubarikpur, 27 colonies on 14.75 acres in Farrukhnagar, three colonies on 5.5 acres in Sancholi, one colony on five acres in Sohna, three colonies on 14 acres in Silani, three on six acres in Ghamroj, three in Bhondsi. Nine illegal colonies have developed on 11.5 acres. From landowners to sellers of property dealers have been identified.
From road to the house: Roads have been built in these illegal colonies in the survey report. Plots were sold to the people by showing those roads. People bought plots ranging from one hundred square yards to two hundred square yards. Some even started construction work.
NOC has to be taken first
According to the DTP, before the purchase and sale of any property, the landowner has to obtain NOC from the department under whose purview that property comes. The new change has been made that if illegal construction has been done on the property and the expenditure incurred for its demolition has not been deposited by the landowner to the department, then its arrears will also show in the records of the revenue department.
No arrest after FIR
In the case of illegal colony cutting on more than a hundred people in two years, FIR has been registered in various police stations by DTP. This includes Farrukhnagar, Sohna, Bhondsi, Pataudi, Sector-10A police stations, etc. These police stations have been provided photos and documents from the DTP to the construction of illegal colonies, but no arrest was made from the police side.
