The decline in the cases of corona in the country continues. On Sunday, 68,362 new infections were identified in the country. 1 lakh 13 thousand 3 patients were cured, while 3,880 people died. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases, ie the number of patients undergoing treatment, decreased by 48,593. Now only 9 lakh 72 thousand 577 patients are being treated. This is less than the first peak that came on September 17 last year. Then there were 10 lakh 17 thousand 705 active cases. After that, they decreased.
Active cases reached 1 lakh 33 thousand 79 on February 17 this year. From here this figure started moving towards the second peak. It reached the highest number of 37 lakh 41 thousand 302 on 9 May, then it started declining.

Restrictions like lockdown in 12 states
There are restrictions like complete lockdown in 12 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mizoram, Goa, Telangana, West Bengal, and Puducherry. Strict restrictions have been imposed here as in the previous lockdown.
Partial lockdown in 20 states/UTs
There is a partial lockdown in 20 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Bihar, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu, and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat.

In Karnataka, Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Prasad has announced a total lockdown in 18-gram panchayats till June 21, amid increasing cases of the corona.
It will be mandatory to conduct an RT-PCR test for entry in Himachal Pradesh from today.
In the last 24 hours, 154 new cases of the corona were reported in Jharkhand. Of these, 713 were discharged and 2 people died.

1. Maharashtra
On Sunday, 10,442 people were found infected here. 7,504 people were cured and 2,771 people died. So far 58.98 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 56.39 lakh people have been cured, while 1.1 lakh people have died. Presently 1.55 lakh patients are being treated.
2. Chhattisgarh

3. Uttar Pradesh
On Sunday, 452 people were found infected here. 1,221 people were cured and 51 people died. So far, more than 17.02 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, 16.71 lakh have been cured, while 21,786 patients have died. 8,986 patients are being treated here.
4. Gujarat
The new case data that came in the state on Sunday has not been updated. Earlier on Saturday, 490 people were found to be Corona positive. 1,278 people were cured and 6 died. So far, about 8.19 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, 7.99 lakh people have been cured, while 9,991 patients have died. 10,863 infected are being treated here.
5. Rajasthan
On Sunday, 308 people were found corona infected here. 1,260 people were cured and 7 died. So far 9.49 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 9.33 lakh people have been cured, while 8,822 patients have died. At present, 7,441 patients are undergoing treatment.
6. Madhya Pradesh
On Sunday, 277 new cases were reported here. 780 people were cured and 21 people died. So far 7.88 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 7.75 lakh people have been cured, while 8,552 people died. 4,251 patients are currently undergoing treatment.
7. Delhi
255 people were found corona positive in Delhi on Sunday. 376 people were cured and 23 died. So far 14.31 lakh people have come under the grip of infection. Of these, more than 14.02 lakh people have been cured, while 24,823 patients have died. 3,466 patients are being treated here.
