Former Indian player expressed objection to the decision
Speaking to Star Sports, Yuvraj Singh said, "Rohit Sharma has won 5 IPL titles as captain, removing him from the captaincy was a big decision. But if you bring any player to the team, like Even if Hardik came... I would have given Rohit Sharma a chance to captain for one more season... I would have made Hardik the vice-captain of the team and seen how the entire franchise is working."

Mumbai may face a big blow
According to media reports, the availability of Suryakumar Yadav, one of the important batsmen of Mumbai Indians, is considered doubtful in the first two matches of the upcoming tournament. Mumbai will play its first match against Gujarat Titans on March 24 and the second match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (March 27).
