RR vs DC Playing 11: Delhi will have its eyes on victory against Rajasthan, Samson-Pant will compete

Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals, who started the IPL 2024 season with a defeat against Punjab Kings, will be eyeing a win in the match against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday. This match between the two teams will be played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Delhi's batting was not good in the last match and it had to face defeat by four wickets.

Delhi faces the challenge of stopping Samson

Rajasthan started the 17th season by defeating Lucknow Supergiants. In that match, Rajasthan captain Samson played a brilliant half-century. Seeing the way Samson was batting against Lucknow, it seemed that he was in good form. In such a situation, it will be a challenge for the Delhi bowlers to stop Samson. Samson's record as the captain of Rajasthan is also better. During this period his strike rate has been 145. This is the second-highest strike rate in IPL history after Virender Sehwag. Sehwag's strike rate was 168.

Riyan Parag can land only at number four

For Rajasthan, Riyan Parag can again be seen playing at number four. However, in the last few seasons, he has not been able to perform like that for his franchise. Nortje may return to the Delhi team

Fast bowler Anrich Nortje is ready to return to the Delhi team after injury. Nortje could not play in the last match against Punjab and his return to the team will strengthen Delhi's fast bowling attack. Nortje has joined the Delhi team and it is expected that he will get a place in the playing eleven in today's match. Mukesh Kumar and Khalil Ahmed can take charge of the bowling department with him.
