Lucknow. The release for the Yogi Government's second largest assistant teacher recruitment exam was released in December 2018, but after about a year, when the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court (Allahabad High Court) on May 8. After announcing the result of the written examination, if ordered to complete the appointment in three months, then it felt that now the legal screws would not get stuck. But once again the appointment process has been banned.

Four wrong questions stopped the appointment process

The Lucknow bench of the High Court has stayed the petition filed on behalf of the candidates regarding the four wrong questions. Now the matter is to be heard on July 12. Let us know that after the release of district wise merit, the counseling of the selected candidates was to be held from Wednesday. Now that too has been banned.

Now UGC will settle objections

The High Court has directed that the candidates should present objections to the disputed questions to the state government within a week. The government will forward the objections to the UGC and the UGC will resolve the objections. Now the next hearing of this case will be held on July 12. With this, all the processes made by the government since May 8 have been stopped. In this, all the process has been declared void, including the answer number, revised answer number, result, district option, district allocation, counseling process.

Actually, many controversies came up during the entire recruitment process, with which the candidates reached the court. Know when and how a screw is stuck.

Controversy over cut off marks

Explain that after the Yogi government took office, in December 2018, a government mandate was issued for the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers in primary schools of the state and online applications were sought from the candidates. There was mention of cut off in this mandate, but it was not mentioned how much will happen. The written test for this recruitment was conducted on January 6, 2019 at 800 examination centers in the state.

The matter reached the court as soon as the cut off was declared

A day after this, the minimum cutoff was announced on 7 December 2018. Under this, general category candidates will have to get 97 out of 150 and reserved category candidates will get 90 out of 150. That is, 65 percent will be passed to the general category candidates and 60 percent to the reserved category candidates. Regarding this cutoff, the candidates had filed a petition in the Lucknow bench of the High Court.

High court ruled in favor of the government

Between the Corona crisis and the lockdown, the High Court upheld the government's cut-off marks and said that the quality of education cannot be compromised, the government should declare the results of the written examination and complete the appointment process in three months.

Dispute increased due to release of answer

Thousands of candidates, who were left behind by 1 or 2 marks, have taken refuge in the High Court after the result of the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers in primary schools was declared incorrect. Petitions are by Amarendra Kumar Singh and 706 others, Manoj Kumar Yadav and 36 others, Anshul Singh and 29 others and Sunita and 35 others. The petitioners say that due to incorrect choice of answers to many questions, despite giving correct answers, they have not been given merit. Those who gave incorrect answers have been selected. It has been demanded in the petitions that merit list should be made afresh by removing the questions with incorrect answers and the declared result should be canceled. Other legal issues have also been raised in the petitions.

No relief for thousands of candidates who are behind by 1 or 2 marks

On the other hand, Allahabad High Court in Prayagraj has not given any interim relief to the candidates in the 69000 assistant teacher recruitment case. The High Court has said that the appointments will be the subject matter of the final decision of the petition. The court has also sought an answer from the state government in 3 weeks. Now the next hearing of the case will be on 6 July. The court has given this order on dozens of petitions including Rohit, Anshu Singh. There is a demand to cancel the selection result in the petitions. Justice Prakash Padiya heard in a single bench.

The matter has also reached the Supreme Court

On the other hand, the Shikamitra organization has filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding the cut off marks. He says that the last chance he got due to cut-off marks has also slipped. It is yet to be heard. So this matter seems to be stuck in the coming days.

Now the situation will be clear only after July 12

District wise counseling started from today will be stopped now. That is, the speed at which the government was moving towards giving appointment letters, now a legal screw is stuck on it. From June 6, Kawad has been banned from completing counseling and giving appointment letters. Now this tour of Corona crisis is likely to drag the matter longer.
