74 thousand patients increased in 24 hours, more than 76 thousand people also recovered; 902 infected died; 66.22 lakh cases so far

The number of corona patients in the country has increased to 66 lakh 22 thousand 136. It is a matter of relief that 55 lakh 83 thousand 414 people have been cured so far. 1 lakh 2 thousand 714 patients have died so far. Within the last 24 hours, 74 thousand 426 new cases increased, 76 thousand 674 people were discharged and 902 patients died.

 

Meanwhile, a Maoist commander was killed in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Police suspect that he was corona infected. According to SP Dantewada, Madakam Ramesh was 50 years old. He had symptoms of corona for the past several days.

 

Vaccine to reach 25 crore people by July 2021: Dr. Harsh Vardhan

 

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said on Sunday that the Central Government is preparing to deliver the vaccine to every citizen of the country. A high-level committee is working on this. He said, "The government's goal is to deliver the Covid-19 vaccine to 200-25 million Indians by July 2021. Our focus is that till then we can achieve 40 to 500 million doses of vaccine. Work is underway in its planning.

 

Dr. Harshvardhan said, "After the vaccine is ready, vaccination work will be done. The Health Ministry is preparing a form for this. In this, all the states will give the details of people who need the vaccine first. In particular, health workers, police staff, etc. are involved in the management of Covid-19. Work will be done on its planning by October. Apart from the cold chain from the state for storage of vaccines, information related to vaccine storage and distribution has also been sought.

 

7116 patients decreased inactive case

 

The active case of Corona in the country has been recorded once again. On Saturday, 75 thousand 479 cases came, 81 thousand 655 patients got cured and 937 patients died, thus there was a decrease of 7116 inactive cases. The average rate of death from corona in the country is 1.6%. Among these, it is 2-3% in Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Delhi, and Puducherry.

 

Punjab has the highest death rate of 3%. It is followed by 2.6% in Maharashtra, 2.5% in Gujarat, 1.9% in West Bengal, Delhi, and Puducherry, while 1.8% in Madhya Pradesh. It is less than one percent in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Manipur, Telangana, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Kerala, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Mizoram. There have been 2103 cases in Mizoram so far, but it is a matter of relief that not a single death has been reported so far.

 

Corona updates

 

Delhi Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has said that schools for students here will remain closed till 31 October.

 

Assam's Minister of State for Medicine Pijush Hazarika has said that the positivity rate in the state is below 3%, it is going down further. It is expected that the situation will subside in the next two months.

 

KPS Malhotra, deputy director of the Narcotic Control Bureau, has become corona positive.

 

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said on Sunday that 11.42 lakh investigations were done in the country on Saturday. Till now 7.89 crore tests have been done. India is second in the test. China is first with 16 million tests and the United States with 11 million cases.

 

State of five states

 

1. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Sunday, 1,720 new cases of infection were reported in the state. 2,120 people were discharged from the hospital. 35 patients died. So far, 1 lakh 35 thousand 638 people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 1 lakh 13 thousand 832 people have been cured, while 19 thousand 372 patients are being treated. So far 2,434 people have lost their lives due to infection.

 

2. Rajasthan

 

On Sunday, 2,184 new cases of infection were reported in the state, 2,090 people were cured and 15 infected died. So far 1 lakh 44 thousand 30 people have been infected. 1 lakh 21 thousand 331 patients have been cured, while 21 thousand 154 patients are still under treatment. 1,545 people have died due to infection.

 

3. Bihar

 

The state reported 1,261 cases of corona on Sunday, 1,314 people were cured and 3 patients died. So far, 1 lakh 87 thousand 951 people have been affected by the infection in the state. 1 lakh 75 thousand 109 people have been cured, while 11 thousand 926 patients are still under treatment.

 

4. Maharashtra

 

The number of corona patients in the state has increased to 14 lakh 43 thousand 409. Of these, 11 lakh 49 thousand 603 people have been cured, while 2 lakh 55 thousand 281 patients are still being treated. 38 thousand 84 patients have died due to infection. On Sunday, 12,548 new cases increased in the state, while 15,048 people were cured. 326 patients died.

 

5. Uttar Pradesh

 

On Sunday, 3,840 people were found infected in UP and 5,226 people were discharged after recovering. 52 patients died. 4 lakh 14 thousand 466 people have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 62 thousand 52 people have been cured, while 46 thousand 385 patients are still under treatment. So far 6,029 people have died from Corona.
