More than 72 thousand infected found in 24 hours, 458 killed; New patients highest in 172 days

The second wave of corona in the country is becoming dangerous. On Wednesday, 72,072 infected people were identified, 40,417 people were cured and 458 patients died. The number of new patients is the highest in the last 172 days. Earlier, on October 10, 74,418 cases were received. The death toll is also the highest in the past 116 days. Earlier on December 5, 482 people lost their lives.

 

So far, about 1.22 crore people in the country have been affected by this epidemic. About 1.14 crore have been cured. 1.62 lakhs have lost their lives, 5.80 lakhs are undergoing treatment. These figures are taken from covid19india.org.

 

Corona updates

 

The Uddhav government in Maharashtra has fixed the RT-PCR test rates. Now 500 rupees will have to be paid for conducting the test at the collection center. The Covid Center, Quarantine Center, and Isolation Center will not be able to take more than 600 rupees for this and more than Rs 800 for home tests.

 

Random testing of passengers coming to Delhi from the states where corona cases are increasing continuously. During this time, random testing has been made at all airports, railway stations, and Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT).

From April 1, all people above 45 years of age will be vaccinated. Under this, people will be able to register on the Cowin portal after 1 April i.e. Thursday to 3 pm to take the vaccine. After this, they will be able to take the vaccine in any government or private hospital.

1. Maharashtra: Cases increased after 2 days of decrease

 

39,544 new patients were found here on Wednesday. Earlier, new cases were decreasing continuously for 2 days. There were 27,918 positives on Tuesday, 31,643 on Monday, and 40,414 on Sunday. So far, 28.12 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, over 24 lakh people have recovered, while 54,649 have died. At present, 3.56 lakh people are being treated here.

 

2. Punjab: Nearly 3,000 new cases came last day.

 

2,944 new patients were found here on Wednesday. 2,788 recovered, while 55 died. So far, 2.39 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.09 lakh have been cured, while 6,868 have died. Currently, 23,832 people are under treatment.

 

3. Gujarat: More than 2,000 infected getting daily

 

On Wednesday, 2,360 new corona patients were found. 2,004 patients recovered, while 9 died. So far, 3.07 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.90 lakh have been cured, while 4,519 patients have died and currently 12,610 people are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Madhya Pradesh: Active case crosses 17 thousand

 

2,332 new patients were found here on Wednesday. 1,261 people recovered, while 9 died. So far 2.95 lakh people have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.74 lakh have been cured, while 3,986 have died. Currently, 17,096 people are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Delhi: More than 1,800 cases were received on the previous day.

 

There were 1,819 new cases here on Wednesday. 399 patients recovered and 11 infected died. So far, 6.62 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic, 6.42 lakh have been cured and 11,027 have lost their lives. Currently, 8,838 are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Haryana: Two days later more than 1,000 patients came.

 

On Wednesday, 1,106 new patients were found, 809 were cured and 8 died. This is the second consecutive day when less than a thousand infected have been found in the state. Earlier, less than 1,000 patients were getting here for two days. So far 2.90 lakh people have been affected by this epidemic in the state. Of these, 2.77 lakh have been cured and 3,155 have died. Currently, 9,726 patients are being treated in the state.

 

7. Rajasthan: Active case figures cross 8,500

 

906 infected were identified here on Wednesday. 393 patients recovered and 5 people died. So far, 3.33 lakh patients have been affected by the epidemic in the state. Of these, 3.21 lakh have been cured, while 2,818 have lost their lives. Currently, 8,663 patients are undergoing treatment.
