A horrific accident took place on Wednesday morning near Khagaria Kheda village of Gurbuxganj on the Banda-Bahraich State Highway. The dumper going from Bachhrawan towards Lalganj went uncontrolled and went into the khanti trampling the people standing on the tea stand. Four people have died in the accident, whose identity is being ascertained. All the deceased are being told of Khagia Kheda. Relief and rescue work is going on.
The incident took place at around six in the morning. The people of Khagiya Kheda village were standing on the gumti to drink tea. The dead bodies of Lalai, Lallu, and Ravindra have been identified.
The fourth body has not been identified yet. Four to five people are feared to be buried. Police and administrative officials are on the spot. CO Lalganj Mahipal Pathak told that a team was formed to help the people. The dumper is being removed with a crane.
