Several incidents of violence in Abei

The platoon is deployed in Abyei as part of the Indian battalion in UNISFA, which is India's largest single unit of women peacekeepers in a UN mission. The team underwent training as peacekeepers in all aspects related to their mission, including patrolling, UN functioning, community engagement, language, and the mandate of the mission.
