During the Test series played between South Africa and England, four captains were made. The captains of South Africa were Owen Dunnell and William Milton. History repeated in Mumbai Test

Now this coincidence has come after 132 years in the Test series being played between India and New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane was the captain for India and Kane Williamson for New Zealand in the first Test match.

 

At the same time, in the second test, both the players have been out of the team due to injury. India captain Virat Kohli and New Zealand captain Toth Latham are in the second match of the series.

 

In 2003, both tests were drawn.

The last time in the year 2003, the Indian team could not win a single match in both the matches of the home Test series against New Zealand. Both the matches of that series were drawn.

 

3 players out of India, a change in New Zealand

The Indian team has made three major changes in the Mumbai Test. Fast bowler Ishant Sharma suffered a finger injury while fielding on the final day of the Kanpur Test, due to which he was ruled out of the second match. At the same time, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja suffered a right-hand injury during the first Test. After the scan, it was found that there is swelling in his shoulder. He has been advised to rest. While vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has a strain on the left hamstring. All three were not fully fit for the second Test.

 

Kiwi team's Kane Williamson has also been ruled out of the team due to injury.
