Mobiles of 20 leaders stolen at Kejriwal's rally: CM was doing road show regarding MCD elections

AAP leaders are continuously campaigning for the MCD elections in Delhi. On Wednesday, CM Arvind Kejriwal did road shows in several areas of the capital. During this, the mobiles of about 20 leaders were stolen. Delhi Police has registered an FIR in the matter.

 

Theft in Malka Ganj area

 

This incident happened when CM Kejriwal was campaigning in the Malka Ganj area. Several MLAs and leaders of AAP were present with him. During this rally AAP, thieves looted the mobiles of some leaders. Sagar Singh Kalshi, the deputy commissioner of the northern district, said that complaints were received about the theft of mobiles of several MLAs and councilors during CM Kejriwal's rally. A case was registered in the police station by MLA Akhilesh Tripathi, AAP leader Guddi Devi and MLA Somnath Bharti's secretary.

 

Kejriwal said – people will select those who work

 

During the roadshow in Malka Ganj, Kejriwal targeted the BJP. He said that the public will elect those who work instead of those who stop working. Kejriwal said- In the last eight years, the BJP and the central government have stopped other works of the Delhi government including the Mohalla Clinic, the CCTV project, and Yogashala. Even after ruling the corporation for 15 years, the BJP does not have a single word to count, while the Delhi government has done all the work it had promised.

 

Voting will be held on December 4

 

Voting is to be held on December 4 for the 250-wards Delhi Municipal Corporation elections, on December 7 the votes will be counted and the results will come. Earlier these elections were to be held in April, but due to the decision to the integration of the three corporations, the elections were delayed. November 14 was the last date for filing nominations for the MCD elections.
