Adani Deal: After Haifa Port, Adani's another big deal in Israel, innovation will get a boost

Adani Enterprises, the company of India's number one industrialist Gautam Adani, has made another big deal after Haifa Port in Israel on Thursday. Giving this information on Thursday, Adani Group said that Adani Enterprises has signed an MoU with Israel Innovation Authority (IIA). Adani Group has said that this deal has been done to innovate Adani Group's enterprises in the field of technology. The company has said that after this deal, Adani Enterprises will be able to get technology facilities available from Israeli startups.

 

What is Israel Innovation Authority?

 

The Israel Innovation Authority known as IIA is a publicly funded company that oversees Israel's innovation policies. IIA provides conditional grants to support new ideas in the field of technology. I also create the infrastructure to lay the groundwork for future technology.

 

Deal important for India-Israel relations: Karan Adani

 

Commenting on the deal, Karan Adani, CEO and Whole Time Director, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones Limited, said, “The partnership with Israel Innovation Authority marks yet another major step in deepening our relationship within Israel, It gives us a platform to access hundreds of state-of-the-art technologies, while also inspiring Israel to continue production.

Commenting on the deal with Adani Enterprises, Israel Innovation Authority (IAA) CEO Dror Bin said, "Israel Innovation Authority is delighted to partner with the Adani Group following the group's historic acquisition of Haifa Port last month."
