'Don't build a house on my shore after seeing my water receding, I am the ocean and will definitely come back.' As soon as he took over the reins of power in Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis proved his statement given in the year 2019 true. In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis thanked his opponents and said that it was because of his opponents that he got the courage to fight.

Devendra Fadnavis said, "I express my gratitude to them. They targeted me, my family, and my party, which Maharashtra also did not like. Today many of them must be ashamed that they treated me like this. When I became the Deputy Chief Minister in the year 2022, I had said that I would take revenge on everyone and I have taken revenge. As revenge, I forgave everyone."

Who will Devendra Fadnavis give the credit for becoming the Chief Minister?

After becoming the Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis said that he has started a new innings and now his focus is to take development to the last person of the society. Devendra Fadnavis has first given the credit of his victory to the people of Maharashtra. He said, "The people who gave us a huge majority. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the slogan 'Ek Hain To Safe Hain' and inspired by this slogan, people gathered and voted."

Maharashtra CM said, "The work done by the Mahayuti government in two and a half years was liked by the people of Maharashtra. Ladli Behna Yojana created positivity among women. The government also brought schemes for farmers and youth. A scheme of free education for girls was brought, which benefited the Mahayuti. This created pro-incumbency for the Mahayuti in Maharashtra."

'Losing an election teaches a lesson' - Devendra Fadnavis.

In his 10-year journey, Devendra Fadnavis became the Chief Minister, then after becoming the CM, he had to leave the post and now again took over the command of the post of Chief Minister. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra has described this journey as a 'roller coaster ride'. He said, "In BJP, we are taught that victory in elections is 'teamwork' and defeat is called a 'lesson'. If I compare myself with 2014, then I have matured now. Enduring many shocks increases spiritual strength. One also learns how to react in a situation. Now I have changed and have improved."

Devendra Fadnavis's big statement on Hindutva agenda

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was asked whether BJP has benefited from the 'Hindutva agenda'? Has this led to polarization in Maharashtra? On this, CM Fadnavis said, "Hindutva has had an impact in Maharashtra, but it cannot be called polarization. It is counter-polarization."

Referring to MVA and Sajjad Nomani, Devendra Fadnavis said, "The way MVA dealt with people like Sajjad Nomani and agreed that the Muslim accused of the riots that took place here will be released. Sajjad Nomani had made 17 such demands. When MVA accepted these demands and the kind of voting that happened in the Lok Sabha, the people of Maharashtra understood this." 'Hindutva and development are two sides of the same coin'

Devendra Fadnavis said, "When you suppress someone, he emerges with more strength. The way attempts were made to suppress the Hindu society of Maharashtra and the country, people responded to it. We had also created pro-incumbency. People got the idea that this is a government that works at a fast pace. Hindutva and development are two sides of the same coin. Someone's method of worship can be different. These are not Muslims who have come from some Arab place, those who came have gone. These are Indians of Purvaashram. Hindus of Purvaashram.
