After snatching the government from Uddhav Thackeray, now Shinde faction is going to show power through Dahi Handi. On Friday, MLAs of the Shinde faction in Thane and Dadar will organize the Dahi Handi program on a large scale.

This time the Shinde faction is going to organize the Anant Dighe Dahi Handi program across Maharashtra. More than 300 teams will participate in the Dahi Handi program in Thane. Shinde's MP son Shrikant Shinde and MLA Pratap Sarnaik have been given the command of Dahi Handi Program X in Thane. Here the winning team will be given Rs 2.5 lakh.

 

What is the preparation of the Uddhav faction?

 

On behalf of the Uddhav faction, Yuva Sena has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing Dahi Handi at Shiv Sena Bhawan in Mumbai and Girgaum MP Rajan Vichare in Thane. Here also the winning team will be given 2.5 lakh rupees.

 

BJP-MNS also jumped into the fray

Apart from Shiv Sena, BJP and MNS have also jumped into the Dahi Handi event. BJP is going to organize the biggest event in Aaditya Thackeray's assembly constituency Worli. Its command has been entrusted to Mumbai President Ashish Shelar. On the other hand, Raj Thackeray's party promised to give 55 lakh rupees to the winning team and travel to Spain.

The Culture Youth Foundation of Shinde faction MLA Pratap Sarnaik organizes Dahi Handi in Thane. In 2012, Jai Jawan Govinda Mandal entered the Guinness World Records by building 43.79 feet and a 9-layer human pyramid here.

 

The Sangharsh Pratishthan Samiti of Thane is considered to be the richest committee to organize Dahi Handi. This committee gives 1 crore rupees and gold to the winning team every year.

 

Shiv Sena has been helping the workers

 

Shiv Sena has been nurturing its workers earlier through Dahi Handi. A separate front is formed to organize the event in the Shiv Sena organization. This front works down to the level. This work was also done for those disgruntled leaders, who were not given the main role. Shiv Sena has been organizing Dahi Handi mainly in Dadar, Thane, and Mumbai.

 

Focus on BMC elections, the challenge for Uddhav

 

The government of Maharashtra has announced giving relaxation in a government job to Govinda who participated in the Dahi Handi program. It also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to those who died in the accident and Rs 7 lakh to those injured. It is believed that the focus of the Shinde faction is on the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Elections. At present, the Uddhav faction is in government in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

 

Shiv Sena dispute in Supreme Court

 

The Shiv Sena dispute, which has been going on since June 20, is in the Supreme Court. A decision on this is likely to come in the court on August 22. Under the leadership of Shinde, 39 MLAs separated from Uddhav and formed the government with the help of the BJP.
