Yogi Adityanath: 'Mafia can no longer scare anyone in UP' CM Yogi said after Ateeq-Ashraf murder case

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the MoU signing program with Union Minister Piyush Goyal at Textile Park in Lucknow on Tuesday.

 

While giving a speech, Yogi Adityanath said, "Before 2017, the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh was bad and the state was infamous for riots. Many districts were such that people used to be afraid of their names, but today people do not need to be afraid of the name of the district." Those who were earlier a crisis for the identity of the state, today the state is becoming a crisis for them.

Umesh Pal was killed on 24 February

On February 24, Umesh Pal, a witness to the MLA Raju Pal murder case, and his two official gunners were shot dead in Prayagraj. When the police started investigating the case, Asad, son of Mafia Atiq, was seen firing in CCTV cameras. In this case, 4 shooters were killed by the police in an encounter. In which Atiq's son Asad is also included.

 

Atiq-Ashraf's murder

Mafia Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were shot dead by three youths in police custody in Prayagraj on April 16. The three accused youths were arrested by the police on the spot.
