Jansen had him caught by Corbin Bosch in the fifth over.
2. Ishan Kishan
Everyone expected wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan to make a strong start in the Super 8 match against South Africa, but he failed to even open his account. Ishan was dismissed for a duck after playing four balls, dealing a major blow to the Indian team early. Ishan was caught by Ryan Rickelton off South African captain Aiden Markram in the first over.

Sundar was preferred over Axar Patel, but he failed to live up to expectations. He bowled two overs but went wicketless, conceding 17 runs.
4. Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya also struggled in the Super 8 match against South Africa. He struggled with both the bat and the ball. He conceded 45 runs in his 4-over spell and failed to achieve any success. Meanwhile, Hardik scored 18 runs in 17 balls, including one six.
5. Varun Chakravarthy
Varun Chakravarthy proved to be extremely lack in the Super 8. He was the most expensive bowler, bowling 4 overs and conceding a total of 47 runs. His only wicket was that of David Miller.
