Fifty-four experts from forensic science laboratories in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Rajkot, Gujarat, are working 24 hours a day to conduct profiling and matching tests. However, no official final information has been given about this accident so far. In this accident, only one of the 242 people on board the plane survived, all the rest lost their lives. Apart from this, at least 30 people died in the hostel in which the AI-171 plane crashed.

The plane crashed as soon as it took off on June 12
It is worth noting that Air India's Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft left for London Gatwick from Ahmedabad on June 12. However, the plane crashed shortly after takeoff. The aircraft collided with the hostel of the medical college. This accident is considered the biggest plane accident in India in the last 30 years. At the time of the accident, there were about 1.25 lakh liters of fuel in the plane. It took off at 1:38 pm and within minutes began falling, with its landing gear open. The plane burst into a fireball on impact.
Families await DNA reports.
Many families have been in Ahmedabad since Thursday but are yet to identify or recover the bodies of their relatives. Authorities are struggling to identify the charred bodies and recover samples. Around 50-60 relatives from Banswara in Rajasthan are in Ahmedabad waiting for confirmation of the remains of Dr Pratik Joshi, his wife Dr Komi Vyas, and their children, 8-year-old Miraya and 5-year-old twins Nakul and Pradyut. Komi's father Anil Vyas said, "It is like a nightmare. Pratik has been identified, but the rest are still awaited. The hospital has promised to answer by tomorrow."
