Will the rain also hit Delhi-NCR?
Amidst the approach of Cyclone Montha, the Meteorological Department has stated that due to a western disturbance, the weather in Delhi and its surrounding areas will remain pleasant for the next two days. Light rain and thundershowers are also forecast. The sky will remain cloudy for these two days.
Will the monsoon impact Uttar Pradesh and Bihar?
According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of the monsoon will be felt in Bihar. Bihar is a neighboring state of Odisha, so the impact of the monsoon may be felt in Bihar more than in Uttar Pradesh.
Many districts of Uttar Pradesh are receiving rain even before the monsoon makes landfall. Light rain was also observed in some areas, including Banda. The capital also experienced drizzle amid cloud movement, providing relief from the humid heat. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is forecast in more than 50 districts of the state on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The maximum temperature may drop by up to three degrees Celsius in the next two to three days.
