The arrival of the mild winter in Delhi-NCR

The mild winter has already arrived in Delhi-NCR in mid-October. The Meteorological Department had already issued a forecast of the weather remaining the same until October 12th. Therefore, there is no possibility of rain in Delhi yet. It is believed that if the weather continues like this, the cold will intensify after Diwali.

 

Temperatures also dropped in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The rainy season has now ended in Uttar Pradesh. With the cessation of rain, cold has arrived in various districts of the state. According to the India Meteorological Department, the weather will remain normal today in districts like Ayodhya, Agra, Kanpur, Varanasi, Mathura, Ghazipur, Ballia, Kushinagar, and Deoria. However, a slight chill will be felt due to morning and evening winds.

 

Temperatures are also dropping in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no current possibility of rain in any part of Bihar.

 

Weather Conditions in Hilly States

The weather has also changed in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. Snowfall has begun in these states. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has stated that a change in the weather is possible in Uttarakhand today.

 

Light rain is expected, especially in the upper regions like Chamoli, Bageshwar, Kedarnath, and Hemkund Sahib. These areas may experience a drop in temperature and slippery roads. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is expected in several states of South India. Rain warnings have been issued for several districts in Kerala.
