For scientists, the universe remains a mystery. The closer scientists try to get closer to it, the more mysterious it has become. Scientists are curious to know whether we are the only ones in this universe or if there is someone else somewhere, that we have not known about to date. To know this, NASA has also sent its vehicles towards unknown planets, but till now no answer has been received.
Signals found in hundreds
On the other hand, the signals coming from the world's largest spherical radio telescope made by China are increasing the curiosity of scientists. Recently, this telescope has received hundreds of such signals which have come from the outside world. This research has also been published in Nature and Nature Communication magazines. The US has also confirmed this and the work of decoding these signals is also going on.
fast radio burst
According to scientists, these signals are being received from Fast Radio Burst 2020 1124A. Chinese scientists are calling them magnetar or neutron stars. Scientists say that a neutron star present in this galaxy is sending such a signal. Scientists are also telling about the presence of a magnetic field around it. According to scientists, around 2,000 such signals have been received by the Chinese telescope.
FRB discovered for the first time in 2007
Significantly, fast radio bursts were discovered in 2017. Estimating the release of energy from FRBs goes further than we can imagine. Scientists say that so much energy is released from these signals which are equal to crores of suns. Such signals last for a few seconds or even less.
Signals have been met many times before
Let us also tell you here that this is not the first time that such radio signals have been received by a telescope on Earth. In February 2022, scientists had informed about the signal coming from their galaxy. However, these signals were received in April 2020. Scientists said that these signals came from the Milky Way. These signals, which came from a distance of 30 thousand light years, also excited the scientists. This was the first time that such a signal was received from our Galaxy.
Scientists were surprised by the pattern of FRB
Earlier in 2019 also such FRB signals were received on earth. Its information was revealed in June 2020. According to scientists, many such signals were received even then, out of which more than 100 signals were also destroyed. This signal was received by the telescope of British Columbia. Scientists were also quite surprised by its strange pattern. Scientists believed that these signals came from a spiral galaxy located at a distance of about 500 million light-years from Earth.
Signal found even from a distance of 3 crore light years
In 2007, Australia's Parkes Radio Telescope received FRB signals for the first time. Of these, FRB 121102 was very special and was found in Dwarf Galaxy. It is located at a distance of about 30 million light-years from Earth.
