US President Donald Trump signed several executive orders on Monday, the very first day of taking office. This includes decisions including taking the US out of the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization, giving TikTok 75 days to avoid a ban, and using pardon powers.

Earlier, Trump took oath as the President of the United States on Monday night (Indian time). The chief executive officers (CEOs) of the world's major technology companies were also present at the ceremony organized for this.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez, as well as Google CEO Sundar Pichai and one of Trump's closest advisers Elon Musk, were also present at the ceremony. Apple CEO Tim Cook and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew also attended the ceremony. Let's know in detail...

First of all, know about pardon.

Trump used his sweeping pardon powers on the very first day of taking office and ended the largest investigation and prosecution related to a case in the history of the US Justice Department. The US President said that he is pardoning about 1,500 of his supporters and those accused of attacking the US Capitol, the US Parliament House complex, on January 6, 2021. Trump's move was expected, as he had mentioned it in his election campaign. More than 100 police officers were injured in the attack by Trump's supporters on the Parliament House complex and there were apprehensions about the peaceful transfer of power.

TikTok's operation was extended by 75 days.

Trump on Monday signed an executive order to extend the operation of the video-sharing platform 'TikTok' by 75 days. 'TikTok' has 17 crore users in the US. The executive order signed by Trump said, 'I am instructing the Attorney General not to take any action to enforce the ban on TikTok for 75 days from today so that my administration gets an opportunity to prepare appropriate proposals that will protect national security as well as prevent the sudden closure of the operation of a platform used by millions of Americans.'

Trump will pull America out of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Trump has said that he will once again pull the country out of the historic Paris Climate Agreement. His announcement will deal a blow to worldwide efforts to tackle global warming and once again America will be distanced from its closest allies. The White House's announcement at the time of Trump's swearing-in for a second term on Monday is reminiscent of Trump's actions in 2017 when he announced that the US would pull out of the global Paris Agreement.

Signing of the order to exit the US from the World Health Organization

Trump signed the order to exit the US from the World Health Organization just hours after his swearing-in on Monday. Trump was very aggressive on this organization during the Corona epidemic. While signing the order in the White House, Trump said that the WHO discriminates against the United States. China is being given importance here. He said that the World Health Organization has cheated us.

Announcement of withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement

Trump announced the US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement immediately after taking oath. The White House issued a statement saying that President Trump is once again going to take the US out of the Paris Climate Agreement. Trump signed his first set of executive orders at Capital One Arena just hours after taking oath. During this, the executive order to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement was signed.

The death penalty will start again in the US.

One of Trump's major executive orders is also related to the death penalty. Under this order, the Justice Department has been asked to seek the death penalty for those convicted in serious federal cases. Also, Trump has instructed the Attorney General to ensure that all states have enough lethal poisonous injections to sentence criminals to death.

American people now have freedom of expression.

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order regarding the freedom of expression of Americans immediately after taking oath. Under this order, government agencies will not be able to take action against people in cases related to freedom of expression. In the order, Trump has sought a report from the Attorney General on the actions taken by the Biden government in such cases.

Economic aid to all countries including Ukraine suspended for 90 days.

US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday suspending economic aid to all countries, including Ukraine, for 90 days. According to the order, all US foreign aid programs have been temporarily suspended for 90 days pending review, so that it can be determined whether they are meeting their policy goals or not?
