Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said this in the top meeting of the government regarding the preparations for Mahakumbh on Thursday evening.

 

The organization of Kumbh 2019 gave recognition to Uttar Pradesh on the global stage

CM Yogi said that organizing the divine and grand Kumbh 2019 has given Uttar Pradesh a unique identity on the global stage. UNESCO declared it an intangible cultural heritage of the world. Expectations from all over the world are attached to the upcoming Mahakumbh. It is a golden opportunity to present itself as the new symbol of India in front of the whole world. We will make this year's Mahakumbh more divine by showcasing Uttar Pradesh's administrative capability, cultural prosperity, and tourism facilities.

 

Both the Deputy Chief Ministers attended the meeting

Almost the entire government participated in the apex meeting for the preparation of the grand event of Mahakumbh to be held in the year 2025. Along with the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak also participated in the brainstorming on preparations for the Maha Kumbh at the headquarters of the Prayagraj Fair Authority near the Sangam beach.

 

The committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner.

Public Works Minister Jitin Prasad, Urban Development Minister AK Sharma as well as Chief Secretary Durga Prasad Mishra, DGP DS Chauhan and three Additional Chief Secretaries and six Principal Secretaries presented the complete blueprint for the preparation of Mahakumbh with the estimated arrival of 40 crore devotees. And said that a committee should be constituted under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner and monitoring of the projects should be done every week. All the projects should be linked to the online system. The work should be completed on time without negligence.

 

Ganga and Yamuna riverfronts will be built

The Chief Minister said that the riverfront should be built on Ganga and Yamuna. The action plan for this should be sent to the government soon. Crowd management, disaster, and traffic management should be of a high standard. Experience of previous Kumbh and opinion of experts should be taken. Mahakumbh should be made the standard of security, cleanliness, and orderliness. Increase the number of sanitary ware and toilets. A high level of security should be arranged.

 

Great preparations for Mahakumbh

6800 crore rupees will be spent on setting up the Kumbh Mela.

In 2019, Rs 4200 crore was spent.

This time 40 crore devotees are estimated to come, in 2019 24 crore devotees came.

The area of ​​Maha Kumbh will be increased by 10 to 15 percent.

Compared to last time, preparations are on to set up Mahakumbh on 3700 hectares of land.

Last time Mahakumbh was established on 3300 hectares.

This time 25 pontoon bridges will be built, whose number was 22 last time.

This time 23 sectors will be made instead of 20.

This time 20 thousand security personnel will be deployed, which was 15 thousand last time.

Instead of 4000, this time there will be 10,000 volunteers.

 

22 thousand scavengers will be deployed

22 thousand Swachhagrahis (sweepers) will be deployed for cleanliness in Mahakumbh. Last time their number was 16 thousand. In addition, the operation of 500 shuttle buses. In the last Kumbh, 300 shuttle buses were installed. Mahakumbh will have 20 major entrances and preparations are on to make 54 big parking lots.
