Andhra Pradesh: Chandrababu Naidu will take oath as CM of Andhra Pradesh on June 12, earlier the program was on June 9

The date of the oath-taking ceremony of Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has been changed. Now he will take oath as the Chief Minister on 12th June. Earlier this program was to be held on 9th June. This claim has been made in the media report.

 

The reason for the change in the date of Naidu's oath-taking is told to be the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister Modi on 8th June. He will take oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time. Modi had submitted his resignation to President Murmu on Wednesday before the oath-taking ceremony. The President has accepted the resignation of Narendra Modi and his ministers and has also requested him to remain the caretaker Prime Minister till the formation of the new government.

 

Chandrababu Naidu is in the role of kingmaker

 

Chandrababu Naidu has emerged as one of the kingmakers for the NDA alliance. NDA has created a record of getting a majority for the third consecutive time. Chandrababu Naidu, Janata Dal-United, and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will play an important role in forming the coalition government. BJP has not been able to get a majority on its own in this Lok Sabha election. On the other hand, the Congress-led All India Alliance has performed well in this election.

 

TDP won a majority in the Andhra Pradesh assembly election

 

TDP has won the most seats in the Andhra Pradesh assembly election results. TDP has crossed the majority mark by winning 135 seats. Jansen has won 21 seats. BJP was successful in winning eight seats. The current ruling party YSR Congress Party has been reduced to just 11 seats. On the other hand, most of the Lok Sabha seats have also gone to NDA.

 

Telugu Desam Party became a part of NDA for the first time in 1996

 

TDP became a part of NDA for the first time in the year 1996. Chandrababu Naidu had worked closely with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Not only this, TDP had also fought the 2014 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh with BJP, but in 2019 TDP broke away from NDA.
