Akhilesh, who is going to participate in the proceedings of the Lok Sabha, while talking to the news agency said- Uttarakhand should also be renamed Uttar Pradesh-2. The name of Uttar Pradesh should also be linked to Uttarakhand.'

Let us tell you that CM Dhami has announced the change of names of the places. These include Nagar Panchayat Sultanpur Patti, which will now be known as Kaushalya Puri. Some time ago, some other states including the Uttar Pradesh government had also started changing their names. After this, the names of some places were also changed in Uttarakhand. In these, Ghat Nagar Panchayat was renamed as Nandanagar and Joshimath was renamed as Jyotirmath.
