Aniket Verma became famous as soon as he made his IPL debut, and did not get a chance in Ranji, but now he has stunned the big stars.

There is so much competition in cricket that the life of many players ends before reaching the domestic cricket team, while some end their careers in the hope of moving ahead from the domestic team. But some rare ones may not have been given a chance in their domestic team, but they make a splash in the world with their game. Such an opportunity is available only in IPL and one such player has now emerged again, whose name is Aniket Verma.

 

Aniket Verma stunned the big players in the IPL

 

Aniket has not got a chance in Madhya Pradesh's Ranji team till now, but in IPL, he is hitting sixes off the world's best bowlers for his team Hyderabad Sunrisers. Aniket caught everyone's attention by playing a blistering innings of 74 runs in 41 balls in the match against Delhi Capitals. The innings included six sixes and five fours. The bowlers whose sixes he hit include names like Mitchell Starc, Akshar Patel.

 

Aniket's bat has been giving similar advice to bowlers in domestic matches, but he was never considered worthy of Ranji's team. He has experience of only one T-20 match for MP. However, he has shown his talent by playing an innings of 101 runs in 75 balls against Karnataka on behalf of MP's under-23 team. But the real recognition came from the MP Cricket League.

 

After the MP League, many IPL franchises called Aniket for trials. In the trials for Sunrisers Hyderabad, a pair was given a target of 85 runs in eight overs, which they achieved in four overs only. 64 runs in this were Aniket's. There are happy turns in people's lives, and Aniket's career launched like Gaganyaan from here.

 

When Aniket came to bat in the second match for Sunrisers, the top four batsmen of the team had returned to the pavilion at 37 runs. All the senior players including the team management were under pressure, but the debutant who was sent to the field was not under pressure.

 

Regarding his half-century innings, Aniket says, "There was pressure on the team after four wickets fell, but I was thinking that I have many overs and enough time to play. I got this opportunity to show my ability, which I did not want to let go. We planned to handle the innings and not let any wicket fall for 15 overs. But it was also important to keep the scoreboard moving, so I advised the weak balls in my style. With the runs being scored, the pressure also started reducing. In the last match, when I came to the crease, there were no overs left, but this time I made an important contribution to the team with the opportunity I got.
