The actors whose Instagram accounts were not banned at all include the names of actors like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Atif Aslam, and Ali Zafar. In early May, the government completely banned everything from Pakistani shows to their OTT platforms, media streaming services, songs and podcasts in India. When the accounts of some Pakistani artists were visible in India on Wednesday, the All India Cine Workers Association shared a post on X account and requested the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to get the digital accounts of Pakistani artists permanently banned in India.
