Actor Aamir Khan is in the news these days for his upcoming film 'Sitare Zameen Par'. New updates are constantly coming out about this film. At the same time, there have been talks about Aamir Khan making India's biggest epic 'Mahabharata' for a long time. Aamir is constantly trying to bring this big project to the screen. Recently, Aamir Khan talked about his upcoming big projects, in which he will also be seen as a producer.

Aamir will start work on Mahabharata.

Recently in a conversation with the Hollywood Reporter, Aamir Khan said that now he is eyeing the film which he calls one of his biggest ambitions. The actor said, "I hope to start working on it this year. Like the Oscar-winning Lord of the Rings trilogy, Mahabharata will be a multi-film adaptation. It will take some time as scripting will take a few years." However, Aamir expressed confidence that fans can see this project starting this year. On the question of acting in the film himself, Aamir has not yet decided whether he will act in this film or not. He says that we will see who is suitable for which role.

Mahabharata will be made in many parts.

Will Aamir himself direct a film like Mahabharata or will someone else get the responsibility. On this, the actor said, "The huge scale of Mahabharata needs a big and comprehensive vision. I don't think you can tell Mahabharata in one film, so it will be in many films. I am looking at it on a large scale. Since it will come out in many parts, it is too early to say whether I will direct it or not. I think we may need many directors."

Aamir has been working on this for the last several years.

Aamir Khan has been thinking about this ambitious project of his for the last several years and is trying to make it. Back in 2018, it was reported that the actor walked out of Rakesh Sharma's biopic so that he could work on this film, which was rumoured to be made on a budget of Rs 1000 crore. However, in between, after the flop of Laal Singh Chaddha, there were reports that Aamir dropped his idea of Mahabharata. But now Aamir has given a fresh update about it and made it clear that Aamir is still considering this big project.
