Renowned industry singer Arijit Singh has retired from the world of playback singing. Arijit Singh announced this through a social media post yesterday. He stated that he will no longer be taking on any new projects as a playback singer. He described his journey as a beautiful one. Famous singer Chinmayi Sripada has reacted to Arijit Singh's retirement from playback singing.

 

 

Chinmayi wrote, "Nothing has changed."

Singer Chinmayi Sripada shared a post on her X account. In it, she shared her experience of working with Arijit Singh. She writes, "I remember when Arijit recorded me for Pritam sir. That's when I met him. And I remember telling him that he wasn't ruling Bollywood or anything like that. 'Tum Hi Ho' hadn't been released yet. Then, even after he became one of the most loved and in-demand singers in the industry, I worked with him several times, and nothing had changed."

 

 

"Whatever he has planned will be something special."

 

Chinmayi further wrote, "He is one of my favorite musicians and singers. Overall, I can say he is one of the best. He is one of the most spiritually evolved human beings I have met. Meeting him always felt like meeting someone who works with a higher purpose. Whatever he has planned for himself as a musician will be nothing short of divine."

 

 

Arijit will continue making music.

Arijit Singh shared a post on his Instagram announcing his retirement from playback singing. In the post, he wrote, "Hello everyone, Happy New Year to all of you. Thank you all for giving me so much love as listeners over the years. I am happy to announce that from now on, I will not be taking on any new projects as a playback singer. I am saying goodbye to this profession." “It has been a wonderful journey.” He also made this announcement through several tweets on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He further said, “God has been very kind to me. I am a fan of good music, and in the future, as a budding artist, I will learn even more and do more work on my own. Thank you once again for your support. I want to make it clear that I will not stop making music.” Arijit clarified that he is only retiring from playback singing, but he will continue to create music.
