He stated that he will no longer be taking on any new projects as a playback singer. He described his journey as a beautiful one. Famous singer Chinmayi Sripada has reacted to Arijit Singh's retirement from playback singing.

Singer Chinmayi Sripada shared a post on her X account. In it, she shared her experience of working with Arijit Singh. She writes, "I remember when Arijit recorded me for Pritam sir. That's when I met him. And I remember telling him that he wasn't ruling Bollywood or anything like that. 'Tum Hi Ho' hadn't been released yet. Then, even after he became one of the most loved and in-demand singers in the industry, I worked with him several times, and nothing had changed."

Chinmayi further wrote, "He is one of my favorite musicians and singers. Overall, I can say he is one of the best. He is one of the most spiritually evolved human beings I have met. Meeting him always felt like meeting someone who works with a higher purpose. Whatever he has planned for himself as a musician will be nothing short of divine."
Arijit will continue making music.
