Gold medal in 10-meter Air Pistol Men Team event: On the fifth day of the Asian Games, shooters once again proved their mettle. India has won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol team men's event. Earlier, even on the fourth day, Indian athletes had maintained their dominance.
Left China behind-
The trio of Arjun Cheema, Sarabjot Singh, and Shiv Narwal have brought this victory to India. The Indian trio stood first as a team by scoring 1734 points. They left second-placed China behind with 1733 points.
Qualified for individual competition-
The third-place bronze medal went to the Vietnamese trio with 1730 points. For the individual qualification competition, Sarabjot stood fifth with 580 points and Arjun stood eighth with 578 points. The final of the men's 10-meter air pistol individual competition will be held today itself.
Got fourth gold medal in shooting-
With this, till now Indian shooters have won a total of 13 medals. This is the fourth gold medal for India in shooting in the Asian Games 2023. Apart from this, India has also won four silver and five bronze medals in shooting.
