
Indian trio Manu Bhaker, Ishaan Singh, and Rhythm Sangwan won the gold medal in the women's 25m pistol team event at the ongoing Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China on Wednesday.
India won the gold medal with a total score of 1759. China stood second, scoring 1756. The Korean team stood third with a score of 1742.
Till the time of writing the news on Wednesday, India had won two medals through shooting. Earlier, India had won the silver medal in the women's 50-meter rifle 3 positions team event.
India scored a total of 1764 in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions team event. China won the gold medal. Korea won the bronze medal by scoring 1756. India won its first medal through shooting on the fourth day.
India's strong performance in pistol event
Let us tell you that Manu Bhakar scored 590 in the qualification round. Isha Singh scored 586 and stood fifth. Rhythm Sangwan scored 583 and stood seventh. But only two shooters can compete in the finals, so the rhythm has been lost.
