Assam High School Living Certificate (HSLC) Exam and Higher Secondary (HS) Exam 2021 are to be conducted from May 11. At the same time, due to the increase in coronavirus cases, students have urged the government to cancel or postpone the exam. This year around 4 lakh candidates have to appear in the examination. However, students and teachers are hoping that the examination should be postponed because of the epidemic.
Recently, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has postponed the Higher Secondary First Year Examination till further orders. At the same time, as far as the Assam Board Exam 2021 is concerned, there is no official update about it yet. However, according to media reports, an announcement in this regard is expected today.
Earlier, on 17 April, State Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma appealed to SEBA and AHSEC to discuss the Assam Board Exam 2021 with the concerned stakeholders and take a concrete decision within the next 10 days. Significantly, the dates of the Assam High School Leaving Certificate Examination and Higher Secondary Examination 2021 were announced on January 2. The dates were announced by tweeting at the Education Minister from his official Twitter page. Later, time tables were released on the official website.
