Negotiations began in Bahadurgarh on Tuesday between the High Power Committee of the state government and representatives of the United Kisam Morcha to open the Tikri border, which was closed for 11 months due to the farmers' agitation. The government committee, representatives of SKM, and representatives of entrepreneurs are present in the meeting. The first round of talks is over. Now both sides visited the Tikri border to see the possibilities of opening the way. After this, the second round of talks will start shortly.
Talking to reporters before the start of the meeting, farmer leader Amrik Singh said that we were going to Delhi. Wanted to protest at Jantar Mantar. But the government blocked the way. Even now the government has closed the roads. It is the job of the government to open it. On behalf of the state government, Additional Chief Secretary Rajiv Arora, DGP Agrawal, Rohtak Range IG Police Sandeep Khirwar, and Jhajjar and Sonipat district administration officials are present in the meeting.
On behalf of the Tikri Border Committee of SKM, six farmer leaders including Amrik Singh and Kulwant Singh Maulviwala are representing the agitators. The industries of Bahadurgarh are losing crores every day due to the closure of the Tikri border. Therefore, entrepreneurs will also present their problems in the meeting. They will cry their sorrow in front of the farmers' leaders. Several entrepreneurs including Bahadurgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) General Secretary Subhash Jagga and Narinder Chhikara are participating in the meeting as representatives of entrepreneurs.

The people of the villages troubled by the closure of the Tikri border had met the Chief Minister. After this, the Chief Minister had said that the Supreme Court has asked the United Kisan Morcha to be made a party in the petition opening the way. They are also worried about the loss being caused to traders and shopkeepers. To fix the link roads passing through the villages, work will be done on priority by giving orders to the concerned departments.
Villagers said crying, many died due to not reaching the hospital
A villager had told the Chief Minister before the Chief Minister that many patients had died due to not reaching the hospital in case of emergency.
