RCB's Dinesh Karthik got reprimanded before 2nd qualifier match, know the reason

Royal Challengers Bangalore's star wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has been reprimanded for violating the IPL Code of Conduct during the Eliminator match of the Indian Premier League 2022. This information has been given in the official statement issued by the IPL, although it has not been told due to which incident he has been given this punishment.

 

Avesh Khan came to throw the last over from Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator match, Dinesh Karthik wanted to take a shot on this shot, but he missed, after which he was seen getting angry with himself. Dinesh Karthik also shouted very loudly in anger. It is believed that during this time some abusive words came out of his mouth, due to which he was punished.

A statement issued by the IPL read, 'Dinesh Karthik has been reprimanded for violating the IPL Code of Conduct in the Eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants. Karthik has accepted the Level 1 offense of Article 2.3.
