Earlier, Ayodhya had a very small airstrip of only 178 acres. During the first phase, the length of the airport's runway was kept at 2200 meters, which will be increased to 3700 meters in the second phase of construction. With this, during the construction of the second phase, Shriram Airport will become 50 thousand square feet.
The first flight from this airport will start for Delhi and then for Ahmedabad. It will be expanded further later. Along with Boeing 787, and Boeing 887, big and heavy aircraft like Airbus 319 and Airbus 320 can also land at this airport.
