Ranbir Kapoor's film Animal, released in 2023, created a sensation at the box office. Shedding his romantic image, Ranbir appeared in a completely raw and brutal avatar in the movie. The film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, had hinted with a short glimpse that he would be bringing a sequel to the action-drama film titled 'Animal Park'. Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Animal', which created a stir in theaters, is now set to release in Japan after two years.
Before the release, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor, who arrived in Japan, gave an update on their film 'Animal Park', revealing when the shooting will begin and how the story will unfold.
When will Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Animal Park' go on floors?
Audiences will have to wait a little longer to see this action-packed film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to an NDTV report, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said about 'Animal Park', "The shooting of 'Animal Park' will begin as soon as the shooting of my current film is completed. There will be many animals in it. It's a war between two brothers who look alike, so that's why I felt that 'Animal Park' is the best title for the film. Currently, our plan is to start shooting 'Animal Park' in mid-2027."
Ranbir Kapoor is excited to play a double role
Apart from Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about the progress of the film's sequel, 'Animal Park', and said, "I can't wait to return to the set with Sandeep and play this character again. I have to play another character in this film because it's a continuation of the story. Sandeep had the idea of making the second part of the film in mind since we were shooting the first part of 'Animal'." Regarding his creative collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir Kapoor said, "As an actor, this is very exciting and inspiring for me. Sandeep and I have been chatting continuously for several months and weeks, sharing different ideas. I can't wait to play the characters of Ranvijay and Aziz."
When will 'Animal' be released in Japan?
The film 'Animal', starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, is releasing in Japan on February 13, 2026. The film's premiere in Japan is a very emotional and proud moment for Ranbir Kapoor.
