The formal rituals of Ramlalla's life consecration started on Thursday with the worship of Ganesh. Ganesh, Ambika, and Tirtha puja were performed at the auspicious time at 1:20 pm. Earlier at 12:30, the immovable idol of Ramlalla was installed on the pedestal amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras. The worship continued for about seven hours on the first day. The chief host was Mahesh Bhagchandka, President of the Ashok Sinhala Foundation.
The worship process is being conducted under the direction of Acharya Ganeshwar Dravid and Acharya Laxmikant Dixit of Kashi. The immovable idol of Ramlalla is still covered. The cover will be removed on January 20. Only the covered idol was worshiped on Thursday. The immovable idol of Ram Lalla, the sanctum sanctorum, and the Yagya Mandap were anointed with the water of holy rivers. During the puja itself, Ramlalla's Jaladhivas and Gandhadhivas took place in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple.
On the other hand, along with the installation of the immovable idol in the newly constructed temple of Ramlalla, the seated Ramlalla will also be worshipped. A 51-inch immovable idol of Ramlalla is to be consecrated on a golden throne in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. Ramlalla will be installed right in front of his throne. He will be worshiped in the temple as a movable idol i.e. Utsav idol.
On the issue of neglect of Virajman Ramlalla, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai has clearly said that Virajman Ramlalla has won the case. How can they be removed? They will also be consecrated in the newly constructed sanctum sanctorum. He will be seated along with his brothers on the throne right in front of the immovable idol. There will be his puja and aarti daily. The immovable idol will not be able to move after being installed, hence the seated Ramlalla will remain revered here as a festival idol. On festivals and occasions, a procession will also be taken out with this Utsav idol.
Champat Rai said that the seated Ramlalla is very small in size, hence the devotees were not able to see the Lord properly. Keeping in view the sentiments of the devotees, it was decided to make a bigger idol, so that the devotees could see the face of Ramlalla properly. The still statue is 51 inches tall. It will be seated on a four-foot-high throne. In this way, the total height of the statue will be about eight feet. In such a situation the devotee will be able to get easy darshan.
The statue of Ramlalla is only six inches tall
Ramlalla along with his four brothers are present in the temporary temple. The idol of the seated Ramlala is only six inches tall. In this idol, Ramlala is sitting on his knees with Laddu in one hand. The idol of Bharat is also six inches tall, whereas the idols of Lakshman and Shatrughan are only three inches tall. There are also two idols of Hanuman in the sanctum sanctorum, one of which is five inches tall. A large statue is about three feet tall.

Adhivasa is the process in which the idol is placed in different materials for some time. It is believed that the injuries caused by the craftsman's tools on the idol get healed by this. All the faults are eliminated. In this sequence, under Jaladhivas, the immovable idol was kept in water in the classical method. Gandhadhivas took place in the evening. In this, fragrant liquids were applied to the idol of Shri Ram. Yajnamandap was also worshiped during the rituals.
Recitation of Vedas on 21st
In the sequence of Mandappa Puja, the arch, gate, flag, armament, flag, Dikpal, and Dwarpal of the temple were worshipped. At the same time, five Vedic Acharyas have also started reciting the four Vedas as part of the rituals, which will be recited on January 21.
