It was recently decided at the BCCI AGM that the first season of the Women's IPL will be played in 2023. After this, the board has taken this big decision. Jay Shah said in his tweet, "BCCI women cricketers will be paid the same match fees as their male counterparts. Tests (Rs 15 lakhs), ODIs (Rs 6 lakhs), T20s (Rs 3 lakhs). Equal pay was my commitment to our women cricketers and I thank Apex Council for their support. Jai Hind.''
