Bhopal. Chief Minister Kamal Nath held a press conference on Friday in the midst of a continuing political chaos in Madhya Pradesh for 17 days. He said that BJP got 15 years. I got 15 months. You all know that when our government was formed in a month, every 15 days BJP leaders used to say that this government is a fifteen-day-month government. First BJP MLA Sharad Cole of Kamal Nath's press conference also resigned. The speaker informed Cole's resignation. However, the BJP claimed that Cole had not resigned.
'We worked, BJP kept on plotting'
Kamal Nath said, "The result of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly came on 11 December 2018. In my 40 years of political life, I have always believed in development. BJP got 15 years. I got 15 months. Two and a half months went to the Lok Sabha elections and the code of conduct. Every citizen of the state is witness that my work done in the state interest of BJP did not go down. He kept plotting against me in disgust. You all know that when our government was formed in a month, every 15 days BJP leaders used to say that this government is a fifteen-day-month government. ”
"Today our 22 MLAs have been lured and held hostage. The game of seduction was played by spending crores of rupees. Today the entire state is witness to this. The BJP, along with a Maharaja and 22 covets encouraged by him, has killed democracy. The public will never forgive these greed and rebels who cheat the people of the state. "
"In the last 15 months, we have proved a majority in the assembly many times. When we proved this majority they did not tolerate it. The people of the state were betrayed by destabilizing my government. BJP is worried that the state is moving in a new direction. They continued how to destabilize my government. In 15 months we waived the debt of three lakh farmers. In the second phase, there was a process of waiving the debts of seven and a half farmers. "
'We do not make false declarations'
Kamal Nath said, "We have decided to build a thousand gaushalas for the protection of our Go-Mata roaming the streets of the state." The BJP did not like it. The people of the state benefited from 100 units of electricity, 1 crore people of the state. BJP also did not like it. Assistance of Rs. 51 thousand increased from 28 thousand in Kanya Marriage. BJP did not like this. Ram vowed to construct Vanpath movement. Decided to build the temple of Sita Mata in Sri Lanka. This BJP did not like. "
"We planned to develop the Omkareshwar temple." The BJP did not like it. We have increased the honorarium of priests three times. The BJP did not like it. Worked for tribal brothers. Opened schools there. In 15 months we fulfilled 400 promises. BJP did not like this. Provided reservation. BJP did not like this. Worked for the economically general weaker section. This too did not go down. Investment in the state comes from trust. We made Madhya Pradesh a state where there were no false declarations. No one has been accused of corruption in our government in 15 months. We will always be on the path of development. We will face the challenges firmly. They will not stop on the path of duty, nor will they deteriorate. "
'BJP can neither defeat the state nor my enthusiasm'
Kamal Nath said, "BJP thinks it can win by defeating my state. Neither can I defeat my territory nor can I beat my spirits. Whether we have a post or not, we will continue to work in the interest of our youth, backward classes and farmers of the state. On March 9, 16 MLAs were taken. Who gave the money, who pressured it, it will come out over time. After today comes tomorrow, after tomorrow also comes the day after tomorrow. The day after tomorrow will come. The public will decide. I have decided that I am going to resign my resignation to the Governor and the reason is that the principles I have followed. "
Floor preparation today
Following the Supreme Court's order on Thursday, the Kamal Nath government will have a floor test in the assembly today. The Congress and the BJP have issued a whip to the legislators to be present in their respective houses. At the same time, late on Thursday, the speaker accepted the resignations of 16 rebel MLAs. After the acceptance of these resignations, the number of Congress MLAs has come down to 92. Here, Digvijay Singh has also accepted that his government is not safe. The former Chief Minister said that it is difficult for our government to escape.
BJP's score in floor test heavy
The BJP has become the largest party in the numbers force after the Congress accepted the resignation of all 22 rebels. It has 107 MLAs. At the same time, the Congress has only 92 MLAs, including the speaker. The Congress also has the support of seven independents and BSP-SP MLAs. If there is a floor test, then it will be difficult for Kamal Nath to save the government.
If the government falls, the governor can give BJP a chance
If Kamal Nath resigns before the floor test, the BJP will present the claim to the government to form the government. According to the current member numbers, the BJP will have a majority. There are speculations that Shivraj Singh Chauhan may become the Chief Minister once again. If this happens, Shivraj will take the oath of chief minister on record fourth. Apart from Shivraj, Arjun Singh and Shyamcharan Shukla have been chief ministers of the state thrice.
BJP will have to win at least 9 seats in the by-election
There are currently 24 seats vacant in Madhya Pradesh. All these seats will have by-elections within 6 months. If a BJP government is formed, it will have to win at least 9 seats in the by-election to save the government. If seven Congress allies continue with her, she can return to power by winning 17 seats in the by-election.
