Chinese President Xi Jinping met with King Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia on Thursday. Another video showed Xi later talking to 86-year-old King Salman and signing a document with him. Saudi officials later said several agreements were signed in the two countries, including agreements with Chinese technology company Huawei on cloud computing, data centers, and other high-tech ventures.
America commented on this meeting
The US has already warned its Arab allies about working with Huawei over espionage concerns. America is also keeping a close watch on this visit. The White House said Xi's visit was an example of the US trying to influence the Middle East.
