Today is the 36th day of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's India Jodo Yatra. On Thursday, he started a foot march along with Congress workers from Bomagondanahalli in Chitradurga. Many big leaders of the Karnataka Congress were also involved with him. This journey Rahul, which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, has come 925 km so far. This journey will end in Kashmir, passing through 12 states.
Earlier on Wednesday, during a meeting in Chitradurga itself, Rahul targeted the BJP. He said that he does not agree with the ongoing privatization of government properties on a large scale. Rahul said his party would not allow the privatization of public sector undertakings (PSUs) if voted to power.
The former Congress president said that if voted to power, his party would chalk out a strategy both at the national and state levels, which would ensure employment for the youth. He was talking to about 1,800 youths from Karnataka about unemployment.
